Connecting Amazon
Sellerwerk talks to Amazon through the official Amazon Advertising API. You authorize us once via OAuth, and we handle token refresh, marketplace routing, and retry-on-throttle from there.
OAuth in plain language:you let Sellerwerk temporarily view and manage your Amazon ads. You stay in control, your Amazon password is never stored with us. You can revoke the permission in Amazon any time — without asking us. "Token" = a temporary key Amazon issues; we refresh it automatically every few hours to keep the connection alive. You won't notice any of this.
Starting the OAuth flow
Go to Settings → Amazon Accounts, pick your region (EU, NA, or FE), and click Connect. You'll be redirected to Amazon's consent screen. The only scope we request is advertising::campaign_management — we do not read product listings, orders, or customer data.
Selecting profiles
After you approve, Amazon lists every advertising profile on your account — one per marketplace. Toggle the ones Sellerwerk should manage. You can enable Germany now and add France later without re-authorizing.
Common errors
- "Authorization failed"— usually means you're logged into the wrong Amazon account in another tab. Log out of seller central, then retry.
- "Region mismatch"— each profile lives in exactly one region. A DE profile can't be connected through the NA endpoint. We auto-detect the right region for you.
- "Token expired" — Amazon access tokens expire every 60 minutes. We refresh them silently. If you ever see this banner, Amazon refused a refresh (usually because you revoked Sellerwerk in Amazon); reconnecting is safe.
Revoking access
You can disconnect anytime from Settings → Amazon Accounts → Disconnect. We immediately stop syncing and delete the refresh token. Historical data stays until you delete the organization.
